Stan McGowan of Architectural and Interiors Photography Ireland has been passionate about photography since childhood.
“I’ve been passionate about photography and creative things all my life. Architectural photography happened by chance and has developed into a niche market. I’m ardent about architecture and interiors, and I like to recreate the story through visuals and sound, explained Stan McGowan.
So it is important to me to capture the essentials in each image whilst also highlighting its purpose.
“My work is predominantly used for commercial use with architects, real estate, interior & kitchen designers, construction & renovation companies, and sometimes in the food sector too. 3D rendering and floor plans are also gaining popularity, which we can offer our clients as an add-on, increasing their value proposition.
I started with photography, but I’m getting increasingly into videography/cinematography, as a different story can be told through video rather than through stills.
Given my marketing background and some experience working for a music label, I believe I can capture the whole spectrum of the place, focusing on the essential parts and recreating it in either image or a video with an appropriate soundtrack, which I occasionally have to compose at my home studio myself.
I think by combining the immersive experience of visuals and sound, you can deliver the story as a whole, making it attractive and leaving some memories to think about after.
“Like many other businesses, a referral is primary for me, and brand exposure on social media is excellent whilst giving people an idea of what can be done for their purpose. I care about my reputation, so I would like to say that I pay attention to detail with careful planning before a project takes place, he concluded.
