“I’ve worked in the construction industry since I was a teenager and I was in a partnership with a different company before going out on my own as I wanted to work on bespoke projects and the business has built up a reputation on that,’’ said William McLaughlin.

“We’re busy but we have had the worst year ever due to waiting on materials and supply issues.
“We work on new builds primarily but if a project has an interesting design brief we will work on it! Every project brings its own series of events with it but I really love and enjoy what I do.”

In recent weeks, Mr McLaughlin was involved with the RTÉ series ‘Bungalow Bliss,’ presented by the renowned Architect Hugh Wallace. The show saw four innovative Architects paired with four first time bungalow homeowners who were seeking a solution to their damp, dark and dated homes.

The various Architectural practises redesigned these properties and reimagined them into beautiful, bespoke homes. The series showcased not only the transformative effect good architecture can have on our lives but also on our landscape.

The clients approached me to work on their house as I was referred to by an Architect. I never worked with this particular Architect before but he was a really cool guy to work with and we got on really well together. Architectural Farm were brilliant to work with, enthused William McLaughlin.
