McGuirk Hire was established in 2001, they are located in Bishopswood The Ward, County Dublin and their hire shop is located in Blanchardstown in Coolmine Industrial Estate. Their services include tool hire, plant hire and access hire.
“The beauty about dealing with McGuirk Hire is the variety of equipment that we hire out. This allows us to deal with medium sized builders from companies working on extension projects to one off builds, we would also deal with landscaping companies from one man operating them to big landscaping companies.
We also deal with utility companies and Civil Engineering companies. In terms of the domestic market, we also hire wall paper strippers, carpet shampooers, dehumidifiers through to consaws and mixers right up to machinery including mini diggers, dumpers, compressors, schredders and telaporters as well as access equipment. We would also have a good range of generators,” said Johnny McGuirk.
“We would operate around Dublin as well as Kildare, Louth, Meath, Westmeath and Wicklow.
The business is very busy and the key for us is the service that we offer as we would have fitters on the road and if any sort of a problem arises with a machine, they can sort it.
“I originally served my time as a construction plant fitter so the company was built around service and we want to provide a good service to the customer.
We’re constantly building the business whilst maintaining the personal touch with the customers.
I’m on the end of the phone in the event of any eventuality. We have great staff who care about the business, they have an interest in the business and they want to build it.
“We have just set up a service department for two stroke and four stroke which will repair and service all types of petrol equipment and so on.
We also update our equipment as regular as we can whilst maintaining the name of the company at a high standard,” concluded Mr McGuirk.
