We build developments, extensions, renovations and new builds throughout South Dublin. The company was formed eight years ago and I’ve a good team behind me. We’re growing every year. We have just got awarded a development of five bed houses and 13 apartments in Blackrock so we’re going from strength to strength despite the hard work. I’m a carpenter by trade and my son is serving his time with me now as well as a few other apprentices We’re only as good as our last job, said Mick Fitzpatrick.

“We have 14 employees and we’re going to employee two more people in the coming weeks. We have a good working relationship with Architects and quality is key. Once we keep up our quality work, we will always be busy. I’ve a personal touch with every job I do as I’m the point of contact for the customer and I’m a people’s person so I get on with my customers and I know what I’m talking about when it comes to my work.

“In terms of the future for Fitzpatrick Construction, I primarily stick with nice design projects and I do a lot of bigger scale projects and it is a job and the client that would draw me to the job rather than needing to be busy more than anything; I like building a nicely designed project not your standard project,” concluded Mick Fitzpatrick.
