Let use some Energy in the right way!

So we have all recently had that uncomfortable feeling of realising that our home & business energy bills have massively increased. Unfortunately the reality is that these bills are only going to go in one direction in the future and that is up.

So what to Do?

Option A – We can sit back and hope these bills decrease

Option B – We can try take some control of the situation.

How do we do that? Well by generating our own energy and therefore reduce or eliminate these bills, while helping reducing our Carbon Footprint.

In the past this would have been unheard of or would been extremely rare, but how we live our lives & mainstream technology have changed dramatically. Now this idea is very much an obtainable reality. The use of Solar PV panels or Photovoltaic system is a legitimate option to address the energy issue. An estimated saving of between 70% & 80% is absolutely achievable in our climate.

So how does it work? Well it is actually a very non-invasive process. Solar panels are mounted to your roof, or placed in your garden. The PV panels produce DC current from sunlight which is run through the Inverter to convert it to usable AC power.

This AC runs provides the electrical power to your home. If you need more power, it can be taken from the battery first, and only then from the grid if really needed. This is a renewable source of energy that will help reduce the cost of running your home in an environmentally friendly way.

The cost for supply & install of PV panels to a standard sized home is approximately €8,000 with costs based off how many Kw’s of electricity you need to run your home.

The Good News is that there are also SEAI grants to available of up to €3,000 depending on your situation. There is also plenty of legitimate supplier to choose from nation-wide.

So it makes sense to invest in PV Solar for your home and get saving in the long term!
