Lifesize Plans Leinster: Revolutionising Design Visualisation

Lifesize Plans Leinster, established 18 months ago, has quickly become a standout name in the construction and renovation industry. With its showroom in Ballyfermot, Dublin, the company offers a cutting-edge service that projects building plans at a 1:1 scale. Clients can walk through their future homes, extensions, or commercial spaces to see how the finished project will feel and function.

Emma of Lifesize Plans explains, “It’s extremely flexible – once there’s a to-scale plan, we can project it.” But, the service isn’t just about seeing plans; it’s about interacting with them. Using moveable walls and furniture in their showroom, clients can tweak layouts on the spot. “Clients are often surprised by how useful they find it to stand in their projected design and move actual furniture around to experiment with how the design changes look and feel.” Changes made during the session are marked up and emailed to the client, streamlining communication with architects and engineers. Clients are also welcome to bring their architect or engineer to the projection session.

For domestic customers, the benefits of Lifesize Plans are clear. Whether planning an extension or a new build, clients avoid costly misunderstandings and delays by catching potential issues early. For instance, couples often find the visualisation helps them align their visions, avoiding miscommunication. On average, residential clients make 10–12 significant design changes during a session. Commercial clients, including hospitals and developers, often make even more. “When a client makes a change and prefers it, they’re saving money down the line.”

Looking ahead, Lifesize Plans Leinster plans to extend its opening hours in response to growing demand. The team is passionate about showing clients that their service isn’t just innovative but practical. By reducing costly design changes later in the process, their approach ensures savings in time, money, and stress.

For anyone planning a project, Lifesize Plans Leinster offers the opportunity to step into the future—and refine it before it becomes reality.
