Instead of dealing with a number of people on site, you are dealing with the one person and it takes a way a lot of the stress that goes with building works. We would also do a lot of demolition works so that would gives us the edge over some other companies,” explained Alan.
“We are based in Mayo, there a couple of different aspects to the business and we would do a lot of retrofitting which would take us all over the country particularly Connaught, Meath, Limerick, the outskirts of Dublin and Clare.
For the one off houses, we would work primarily in Mayo and Galway. We have also teamed up with KORE and external insulation has become a big part of our business over the last eight or nine months.
We are getting more enquiries about the deep retrofit because the Government have increased their grants as well, they are a big bonus to the home owner if they are doing a retrofit project and you can get a nice chunk of money back. We are hoping to go more into the deep retrofit and Warmer Homes Scheme over the next short while with the business, concluded Alan.
