Revolutionising External Decorating with Spray Cork

Fresh Coat NI, led by Barry, has been a reputable name in decorating services across Greater Belfast and Co. Antrim since 2013. Barry, who brings 40 years of trade experience, trained alongside his father, making Fresh Coat a generational business deeply rooted in quality craftsmanship. The company has provided specialist painting and decorating services throughout Northern Ireland, and now has a new focus on addressing long-term exterior issues that standard paint simply cannot fix.

Barry’s journey to using CorkSol products began with a desire to find a lasting solution for common problems he encountered—cracked external renders and recurring mould and algae. “Instead of painting a house every few years, I wanted a product that would last longer for the customer, more than traditional painting,” he says. After testing several options, he found CorkSol, a cork-based spray that not only repairs cracks but also adds thermal insulation, keeping houses warmer and more efficient.

CorkSpray offers customers a range of benefits. Its thermal insulation properties help reduce cold spots and energy loss, creating a more efficient living environment. Additionally, CorkSpray is breathable and flexible, making it ideal for preventing moisture buildup that can cause mould. With a fireproof finish and a 25-year guarantee, customers can expect long-lasting results. Barry adds, “I initially came across CorkSol in trying to solve a painting/decorating problem, but there have been far more benefits than expected.”

Looking to the future, Barry is committed to expanding Fresh Coat NI’s reach. Already the primary CorkSol installer in Northern Ireland, he is focused on building his team and scaling operations to serve more customers. His goal is to make CorkSol’s lasting solutions available to a growing base across the region, setting a high standard for exterior decorating in Northern Ireland.
