I served my time as a bricklayer and I got into the industry that way. I built my first house in 2004 and this gave me the drive to start building one off houses. During the recession, I was working with the local council in Carlow doing extensions and bathroom renovations and then I got back into the one off build side of things in 2014, said Shane Harte.
