Their mission is to allow their customers to feel truly at home in their space when they purchase a Coast piece.

Co-owner Shelley Leslie is on hand to not only advise you on the best piece for your home, but what piece best suits you and your style.

She is a highly sought after Interior Designer, Visual Merchandiser and Designer with more than two decades of experience in hospitality, retail and residential environments.

My partner and I set up the company in March 2022 to fill a gap in the market for the homeowner who wanted something to suit a new build, a renovation project or a home that was 15 years old and the homeowner wanted to do it up. Our idea was that we would hand pick, well designed and well priced affordable pieces that the homeowner could have immediate delivery on. These pieces are in stock and they are delivered within days, explained Shelley Leslie.

“What homeowners really need to consider when they are buying investment pieces of furniture such as a couch, they need to take into consideration the proportions of the room and either measure your room or bring plans if it is a new build project so that I can get an idea of the space they are trying to fill.

There are so many things to think about but the most important things are the size and proportion of the room as well what the home owners vision for the space is.

“People are getting value for money on our pieces as we are buying them directly from the manufacturer so there is no middle man.

Investing in a piece that is going to suit your space is a great idea as in a few years time you can get it recovered and introduce some colour to the various spaces through lamps, rugs, cushions or wall art,” she added.

In terms of short term goals for the business?
“The amount you need to learn to run the business is a plenty of sweat equity job!

I do enjoy what I do but I never envisaged what I would have to learn in order to run the business.

We are going to look at special order pieces for customers to add a bespoke range of products to our services and we are also expanding our accessory and home decorative range which we are really excited about as no one else in Ireland will have these products,” concluded Ms Leslie.
