30 Years of EXCELLENCE IN DUBLIN

Story Highlights
  • “Our solutions not only enhance safety but also provide peace of mind for the entire family."

Located on Long Mile Road in Walkinstown, Classic Bathrooms is a family-run business celebrating 30 years of transforming bathrooms across Dublin. Founded by Jim Smith, the company is now managed by his daughter Siobhan and son-in-law Jamie, who continue to uphold Jim’s legacy of quality, care and perfection, nothing less.
Specialising in accessible showering, Classic Bathrooms provides essential services for the elderly and people with mobility issues, working directly with Dublin’s councils and also private homes. They assist clients with grant applications, potentially covering up to 95% of the cost for accessible bathroom installations. “Our goal is to reduce risks and enhance safety for the elderly,” says Jamie. Their solutions include level access shower trays, grab rails, wall-mounted seats, and downstairs WCs, all designed to make daily routines safer and less stressful, whilst ensuring style and aesthetics are not compromised. With their vast selection of tiles, mirrors and accessories to choose from, you can be sure your bathroom will be finished to perfection.

Classic Bathrooms prides itself on being a one-stop shop, handling everything from plumbing to tiling. Project Manager Robbie ensures each project is executed flawlessly from start to finish. Jamie explains, “We manage everything, making the entire process seamless for our clients.”
Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has led to a high rate of repeat business. “We would work on up to 20 bathrooms a year for customers that we’ve put bathrooms in 20 years ago,” Jamie notes. This loyalty is a testament to their exceptional service and lasting relationships with customers.

As they approach their 30th anniversary, Classic Bathrooms is expanding, doubling the size of their showroom and warehouse. Open six days a week, the expanded showroom will showcase their wide range of bathroom solutions. “We look forward to continuing our mission of making bathrooms safer and more accessible,” says Jamie.
