Brannock Construction: Building on Expertise and Family Values

Brannock Construction is a family-run business led by father and son duo, Thomas and Dylan Walsh. Thomas began his career as an electrician in 1986. After working on a number of construction jobs, he took the leap and went out on his own as a building contractor. The company has grown over the decades into a respected name in high-end residential renovations. Based in Skerries, the company has built a strong reputation, especially on the Southside of Dublin, for delivering quality workmanship and innovative design solutions.

Brannock Construction specialises in bespoke home renovations, with a particular focus on improving energy efficiency. Their projects often involve airtight construction methods aimed at significantly raising the BER (Building Energy Rating) of older properties. The company’s emphasis on speed and efficiency is one of its standout qualities.

“We’re extremely quick because we have a lot of tradesmen lined up,” says Thomas. This efficient project management, combined with their expertise, means that clients can expect minimal disruption and a smooth experience from start to finish.

The team also brings a unique set of skills to the table. Thomas has a keen eye for lighting design, often suggesting custom solutions that enhance the aesthetics and functionality of a space. Brannock Construction’s approach is client-centred, taking the time to understand each customer’s vision and offering expert advice on how to bring out the best in their homes. This attention to detail ensures that each project is tailored to meet the specific needs and tastes of the client.

Looking ahead, Brannock Construction aims to maintain the size of the company as to maintain the quality of their work. Dylan is set to take the reins of the business, ensuring continuity in the company’s services. Thomas adds: “We want to keep doing what we’re doing. We’re good at it, and as they say, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.” With a focus on delivering top-notch renovations and staying true to their core values, Brannock Construction is set to continue being a trusted name in Dublin’s building industry for years to come.
