- "Don't be afraid to make bold statements as they do work out."
- "People want their kitchen to stand out as they want to upload it to Instagram and show it off to everyone!"
Royal Kitchens are an in-demand kitchen company working with clients in the Leinster area on a variety of projects from commercial to residential.
“Business is going well, we’re relatively new to the kitchen industry as we have worked in the construction industry for many years, ” said Richard Doyle.
As to advice he would offer anyone in advance of them purchasing a kitchen?
“Everybody has different tastes so it is important to remain open minded when you are talking to kitchen specialists and visiting kitchen showrooms as you want your kitchen to be different to everyone else. Don’t be afraid to make bold statements as they do work out. Don’t forget lighting, it brings that extra wow factor to your kitchen.
“Pinterest and Instagram are really influencing people and I will tell people to get as many pictures as they possibly can and show me your ideas as I can then see the vision you’re looking for whilst also throwing my own ideas at the customer. People want their kitchen to stand out as they want to upload it to Instagram and show it off to everyone and why not, it’s one of the biggest investments you make in your home!
“Green and blue kitchens are really popular, mustards and pale pinks are starting to creep through as well. Inframe kitchens are ever popular and rightly so. A lot of people are also reverting back to a wood effect kitchen such as a wood grain in the middle of a green or grey kitchen to highlight their kitchen more whilst looking sophisticated,” enthused Mr Doyle.
“In the near future, I would think that I will be designing kitchens where you won’t actually see the worktop until you open the bi-folding doors back as people won’t want to see their sink eventually as people aren’t too keen having their kettles and toasters on display!”
When it comes to the future of Royal Kitchens?
“We’re pushing the name out there and we are also hoping to have a kitchen showroom open in the next six months followed by another two down the road. I would also like the company to become a household name,” imparted Richard Doyle.
