Glenview Interiors imagine, design and create bespoke hand crafted kitchens, wardrobes, fitted furniture and home furnishings for your home.

“I started an apprenticeship in cabinet making after I finished school as I always had an interest in working with timber when I was growing up. It is nice to stand back and look at the finished product you have designed and made using your own hands. There is a feeling of immense job satisfaction and pride. explained Mike Fitzgerald.

“My work is varied so I’ve projects ranging from the ultra modern to completely traditional so it covers all aspects of people’s lifestyles. There is a huge emphasis on home cooking again and people have found a new appreciation for their homes.

“We’re based in Kerry but I have travelled country wide for projects. The business only started this year and the response to opening my own company is beyond my own expectations.

“Most of my work seems to be from word of mouth so far and there is a lot of interest in our projects through Instagram also. It is a great way of allowing people to see previous projects .

I have a website that is almost ready to launch and my wife, Sarah, is working on the administration and social media aspect of the business. She also works in the home Interiors industry so this allows us to work together to bring people’s ideas and visions to life,” he enthused.

As to the future of Glenview Interiors?
“I’m delighted with the way the business is going and if I can continue to build the business I will be happy. If I continue bringing the business from strength to strength and dealing with people the way I’m dealing with then I’ll be doing a good job.

I am a solo operator at the moment, but I will be looking to expand my workforce due to the demand on my services.I currently work with two painters Damien O’Kane and Ashley Hood. Both of their hand and spray painting work is impeccable. I also have some exciting projects in the pipeline with Tanya O’Donoghue and Majella Reen of Reen O’Donoghue Interiors.
