The showroom is the Express Bifolds brand brought to Ireland, it is completely their concept; there is a games room,kitchens, pergolas, up and over roof lights.

When I got the showroom initially, I didn’t want to cram the space because it is such a big space, I want people to get a feel for real life,” said Dave Baxter.

“The grass outside the showroom and the displays inside are built like standard extensions to a house so as people can get a real feel for how it is going to work in their house as well as a sense of perspective.

The displays are kept clean and sharp as I’m very conscious of keeping the showroom clean, airy and comfortable whilst not over-cramming it. 90% of the people that visit the showroom buy from us, we have a very high strike rate.

“As a rule, we try and go that bit further for our customers to ensure that people have our brand in their home, especially young couples who may have only bought their first home and the budget may not necessarily be there.

“We had Architect George Clarke here last November and he will be back again later this year, he was redesigning projects for people who visited on the day which was great. We’re building the brand in Ireland as well as building relationships with people who have a reputation so we’re happy to have an involvement with George. Express Bifolds buy sky lights from me and I buy bi-folding doors from them so we have a very, very good relationship and they are a very professional company to deal with. We are constantly redeveloping product and continuously changing to meet current market and client requirements,finished Mr Baxter.
