F[/dropcap]ounded in 2021, Oaklane Home & Garden is a family run business that supplies quality contemporary furniture to the Irish market. The team is committed to providing excellent customer experience through personal service.
They source high quality contemporary furniture for home and garden from across Europe. They are drawn to suppliers that are not currently supplying to Irish business which means that many of their ranges are not available in stores in Ireland.
Oaklane Home & Garden complement their unique range of stylish yet practical furniture with other home essentials, such as mirrors and accessories from well established Irish companies.
Oaklane Home & Garden maintain their low cost model by supplying furniture that is carefully packed flat with easy to assemble pieces. This not only keeps costs down but it reduces the lead time for delivery.
They have a warehouse in Kilcullen, County Kildare that is available to visit by appointment. If you see something you like then please get in touch and they will arrange a viewing of the item or a similar item from the same range so you can experience the look and feel.
The team also understands that buying furniture is a big decision and they want to help you to feel happy and confident with your purchase.
“As customers we found that everything on the market was very much the same and we always had an idea that we would create a business during the pandemic as there was an opportunity there which saw people buying more products including furniture online,’’ said Gillian Lennox.
“We decided to start the business and we picked stuff that we would buy. All of our products are carefully selected, our pieces are not bought in bulk and we also like to think that our customers can’t buy these items in another store.
“We are trying to offer an alternative as well as contemporary furniture. We keep our products at a decent cost point and as we’re online and due to most of our products being manufactured and designed in Europe, we have quick lead times.
Customer service is very important to us and we feel that we can offer a boutique service with a family approach to buying an important item for your home.
We want our customers to feel like they have received a very special customer experience when they deal with us. We feel like we have a business that is very unique as well as something that we can grow, enthused Ms Lennox.
“We want our customers to experience a slice of something nice in a world gone mad. We offer an old fashioned, feel good service. It is also important to us to have stock to hand or to have the capacity to gain access to it quickly. Our model is quick and that our customers have a great experience as well as supplying products that are of a really nice quality.
The business is very much customer focused.
“We’re in operation for 12 months, we have had a slow and steady start and that is okay as we understand the challenges and reality of the market that we’re in.
We still believe that Irish people love their homes and they love to have nice things in them and we want to be in the market to provide that service. We want to share our brand as well as interacting with customers and develop our product range. For us, it is about going to Europe and discovering great products for both the home and garden whilst bringing them to the Irish market,’’ concluded Gillian Lennox.
