A visit to our showroom at The Link Business Park, Kilcullen is just a quick spin off from M7 and M9 and we at Kildare Bathroom Company would be delighted to welcome you inside our modern showrooms.
The business was founded in 2001 and together we as a team have more than 50 years’ experience in the bathroom trade. All our products are sourced from leading bathroom and tile distributors and selected for beauty, quality and durability.
While many of our clients travel from Dublin, and surrounding counties, we are delighted to say we are extremely busy with local projects. Our showrooms have a vast range of products to include sanitary ware, tiles, showers, lighting, and we have a large selection of baths on display to choose from.
“Business is really good which we are very grateful for considering the challenges Covid presented us with. I do think there is a greater value being placed on bathrooms. We are extremely busy with new builds and bathroom refurbs and so, our showrooms work now by appointment only allowing the customer has full undivided attention,” said Ger Dooley.
Covid afforded us the time to examine what we are doing well and how we could do this even better. It is important that we are agile and adapt to our customers and their needs. We are constantly changing and updating our showrooms.
Our latest addition is a beautiful free-standing bath with a matching basin in our own company colour of middle blue. We are excited to share the new collection from Bayswater recently fitted in the showroom. The Bayswater vanity unit alone is a fabulous statement piece.
We are very fortunate in that we work closely with top interior designers who are available to discuss the vision you have for your bathroom, the storage requirements, the style of bathroom and most importantly ensuring you keep to your budget. We cater for all budgets and always have. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and those all-important personal touches that we add to every project, enthused Mr Dooley.
In terms of advice, he would give anyone who may be interested in doing a bathroom renovation?
“Use your space effectively, consider your family’s needs, and how you would like your new bathroom to function. Choose wisely and seek advice from the experts. The perfect bathroom is one that is suitable for the user of that bathroom. The most important thing is that the user of the bathroom is comfortable in that space.
It needs to be stylish, functional and have good space and light. Wall hung furniture is a real winner for maximizing space in a small room. Minimalist fittings and light colours really make the difference. A neutral tile with subtle design or a large format tile requires less grouting.
“Different finishes in Brassware seems to be the biggest Trend change on the horizon. Black, brushed brass and brushed nickel are really becoming serious rivals to the ever popular chrome in taps, showers and even shower doors,” he enthused.
In terms of the future of Kildare Bathrooms?
“As we continue our journey as a relatively young company, we intend to build steadily on the very strong reputation we have earned as a trusted provider of high-quality sanitary ware and tiles with a great back up service and attention to detail that we feel makes us stand out from the crowd.
“Our aim is to help you make the most of the hidden potential in your bathroom,”
Ger Dooley.
